Good food great service great drinks great atmosphere ,going here for 44 years, never a bad meal, always a great meal french onion so it was awesome Burger cook perfectly known for their steak tips specials we also had bake stuffed shrimp. Everything was great.

It's always a treat to eat here! Such a varied menu of traditional New England dishes and some great additions like dumplings! Friendly bar and the owner often in evidence. Usually I like the seafood, but for this meal I went Italian pasta. The meatballs, the sauce and garlic bread were very tasty indeed! Good value for the money too.

Stopped in as we were driving around the area. We were from out of town and looking for something simple and hearty, and this was highly rated on Google. So glad we did!! It’s a very cozy place, packed even on a Thursday night, and clearly loved by locals. The soups were amazing (best clam chowder my mother has had) and the entrees were both large and well priced. The waitress, Mary, was lively and kind and the whole restaurant felt very welcoming. Glad to see a family owned restaurant doing so well in this age of chains. Some specials were sold out however, so get there early if you can!

I recently visited The Weathervane in Hamilton, and it was a delightful experience. The place has a quaint charm that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient—our orders came out in no time! The drinks were fantastic, and the salad was fresh with a delicious homemade dressing that really hit the spot. The steak tips were done to absolute perfection, tender and flavorful. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend for a cozy, satisfying meal!

My favorite restaurant in the Newburyport area and kicks Newburyport’s…Blank. Mary is my favorite server anywhere. This food is so above and beyond. Every single meal I’ve had from fish to steak tips - rocks and the portions are so huge. A salad alone would suffice. I love this restaurant. Try it- you’ll love it

Best Chicken Fingers anywhere! They’re not on the menu so be sure to ask if they have them. Unchanged for over 30 years.

Food was excellent! Service was good too. Can't wait to try again. For lunch I had the roast beef French dip croissant sandwich with french fries. Best I've ever had! Then for dessert I got the banana foster cake. Very yummy. I highly recommend this place.
